Medical Quality
The primary reason for processing your personal data is to ensure that the correct information is certified and that an accurate medical assessment is made. We do not process particularly sensitive data that is not relevant to the assessment, such as religion, sexual orientation, or political affiliation. Data related to criminality is also particularly sensitive and is processed and documented only if it is essential for medical assessment, such as in driving license certificates concerning alcohol, drugs, or psychiatric diagnosis. Exceptions for processing data related to religion may be necessary in some cases, such as when religious affiliation prevents vaccination or blood transfusion.

How we must and are allowed to process your data is regulated by the Patient Data Act (SFS 2008:355) and the National Board of Health and Welfare’s regulations and general advice on record-keeping and the processing of personal data in healthcare (HSLF-FS 2016:40), as well as the Accounting Act (SFS 1999:1078).
