Have you gotten ill and had to cancel your trip? Make an appointment with one of our physicians, and they will help you with a medical certificate to your incurance company.
Certificate required for cancelled travel
If you’ve had to cancel your trip because of illness or accident, you’ll need to provide a doctor’s certificate to your insurance company to be eligable for compensation. The certificate must contain information about your diagosis and a date for your first treatment or examination.
The reimbursement is included in certain home insurances, but be sure to review the terms and conditions. In most cases, no compensation will be paid out if the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs has advised against travel to the country in question, in the case where no supplementary insurance is signed.
